Imagine building your own startup, working through every idea and execution scenario comprehensively, with AI agents working with you, so nothing slips through your notes.
That’s the energy behind our upcoming Indonesia’s first AI Venture Builder, a new program born from a collaboration between Foundry Collective and Founder Institute (FI)!
The program follows a shift in FI’s own curriculum, leaning fully into AI. Now it results into a sharper program, just 10 sessions, covering everything from idea development to fundraising, and Demo Day. It kicks off by the end of October 2026, running through to Demo Day in 2027.
FI and Foundry are built on the same belief that real entrepreneurial potential isn’t just activated, it’s also built together across technology, business, and the communities around them.
“With AI agents that FI pairs you with, building your own product has never been easier, but the toughest part in launching a company still remains, thus getting real human feedback or insights from the mentors is one of the key value of FI,” said Andreas Surya, representing Founder Institute’s Jakarta.
What makes this program different
This is a freshly built program, grounded in Silicon Valley’s proven curriculum, but rebuilt around AI. Here’s where it gets interesting: your startup gets its own playbook, one written for a single founder.
It’s designed to walk alongside you through the entire journey, a new, agentic, kind of program meant to sharpen not just your startup, but your instincts for building with AI as a collaborator.
Let’s walk you with a case, you can feed it with key information about your venture, such as current stage, team size, traction, and goals, and the agent builds a tailored playbook based on it. Need to pitch a VC at 2am? No problem. Your AI sidekick is wired directly into your inbox, ready whenever you are.
Delivering the curriculum: a curated bench of 100+ local mentors, founders, investors, and experts.
Through this program, FI’s Jakarta will be directed by four experts who’ve been in the trenches themselves: Andy Zain and Andreas Surya of Kejora Capital, Founder of Altmore Partners Alistair Johnston, and Founder of Laku6 Alvin Yap.
