Foundry Collective is officially teaming up with Taipei Entrepreneurs Hub, a platform linking global founders to Taiwan’s tech ecosystem. The partnership marks a new step toward building a real cross-border bridge for the entertainment tech ecosystem collaboration between Indonesia and Taiwan.
The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed by Andy Zain, representing Foundry, at the 2026 StartSphere Taipei, Friday, September 4.
Foundry Collective was established as a non-profit ecosystem platform empowering Indonesia’s innovation landscape, bringing together industry leaders across tech, media, and finance.
“Our mission, among others, is to become a united voice, bridge collaboration and cross-border partnerships for the Indonesian tech ecosystem and global world,” Zain said.
Speaking on the topic “Bringing Indonesia to Taiwan”, Zain underscored that the two nations can act as complimentary partners rather than competing in the tech innovation scene.
Indonesia is known as a strong mobile-first market with a population of 280 million, a solid foundation for audience reach. Taiwan, meanwhile, boasts a strong entertainment ecosystem, backed by a robust production base spanning studios, hardware, software, and everything in between.
“Taiwan should be the co-production home for Southeast Asian IP and innovation, not just a market to sell into,” he further added.
Through this partnership, the goal is to promote international startup exchange and support joint activities going forward, marking an exciting step toward deeper ties between two nations, with more initiatives to come.
